Once you move, it’s important people know where you live and how to find you. Here’s a handy checklist to help you get everything covered.

At your local postal office, have your mail forwarded to your new address, or do it online at www.canadapost.ca

Inform the following companies and institutions about your new address:

 Employers
 Your children’s school
 Government services, if relevant (CRA, EI, CPP)
 Driver’s license, vehicle registration, health card
 Banks
 Insurance companies – car, health, property
 Hydro, utilities, cable, phone and internet providers
 Credit card companies
 Doctor and dentist offices
 Any subscriptions – magazines, newspapers and catalogues
 Family and friends

TIP: Many companies now offer the convenience of changing address information online.
