Real estate investor event – Nov 12th in Mississauga

Key things every Ontario landlord should know

Are you keen to find out more about owning and managing rental properties in Ontario?

If yes, then please join us!  My investor group is having another “Meet, Greet and Learn” real estate investor event on Tuesday, November 12, at 7 pm, at my office in east Mississauga.  Our presenter, Katherine Paliwoda, is one of Ontario’s top experts when it comes to Landlord and Tenant Matters. Since 1984 she’s been helping landlords and real estate investors understand the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 and the Rights and Responsibilities that go along with the rules as set out under the RTA, 2006. Katherine comes highly recommended by The Ontario Landlord Association, and by virtually every student she has taught in her many intensive courses.

What you’ll learn

– how to properly and safely rent out your property, including how to advertise your unit for rent, and how to avoid costly mistakes for not knowing the rules

– critical things you must do, and things that you definitely shouldn’t do when purchasing, renting, and managing a residential rental property in Ontario

– how to protect yourself from issues that are likely to happen when you purchase, sell, or rent your property

– why the Ontario Human Rights Code is important to landlords, and what you need to know to avoid liability

Katherine is very much in demand for her expertise, and usually her courses are offered only to select groups. We are very fortunate to be able to feature her as one of our expert speakers.

Whether you’re a seasoned real estate investor, considering a new investment in Ontario real estate, or you’re a landlord in Ontario, you will not want to miss this opportunity!

Please note: space is limited, so please RSVP!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me!
